Louisiana can and should do better.
For now, the “big name” running to be his possible successor is State Senator Neil Riser. A special election will take place on October 19th of this year to fill the vacancy.
State Senator Riser seems to be a pretty good Conservative but wouldn’t it be interesting if African American State Senator Elbert Guillory decided to throw his hat into the ring?
Guillory just launched the “Free at Last” Political Action Committee dedicated to the purpose of electing African American Conservatives to office.
